If you had one wish...
This absolutely breaks my heart. This little boy's name is Shane Bernier. Many of you may have heard of him, but he is 7 years old and lives in Lancaster, Ontario. When he was 5, he was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukemia and was doing well until June, where he experienced a relapse. Instead of asking for money, toys, or a trip to Disney World, his one wish is to make it into the Guiness Book of World Records for recieving the most birthday cards. His goal is 350 million cards. Each card he recieves will give him that much more hope. His birthday is May 30th and the record begins on May 1st. The rules are that he has to recieve the card between those dates and it has to be a store bought card...(homemade doesn't count, but will still be appreciated!) You can get real birthday cards at Walmart for 48 cents...which I think we can all spare. I think this is very cool and the fact that this little boy still has a positive outlook, warms my heart. I will be sending a card for sure...maybe even two. It will only take a few minutes of your time and about a dollar to help make Shane's wish come true!!
If you want to send Shane a card, the address is:
Shane Bernier
PO Box 484
Lancaster, Ontario
K0C 1N0
Canada
(it takes 2 stamps!!!)

Thought of the evening
“Life’s too short for drama and petty things…so kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly, and forgive quickly.” -Sex and the City
Jordan got in a really bad car accident today. He fell asleep at the wheel on the way to work and ran straight into a big pole. He totaled his blazer and spent most of the day in the hospital. Luckily he had an air bag because the paramedics said that's the only thing that saved him...the jackass was NOT wearing a seatbelt. I realized today that I can't let petty things keep me pissed forever, because I was still really pissed at him. But, if it would have been more serious today, I really don't know what I would have done. Even though we hate each other most of the time, when we aren't fighting...it's pretty great. I know that's not even close to enough for us to work, and I'm ok with it. I don't care so much about that, but I am going to try and stop hating him. Hopefully this will help me to control my grudges...it's my new goal. Maybe I'll start to be more mature...ha

I hate these shoes so much!!! every time I see a kid roll by me I just want to clothesline them!! I also want to find whoever invented them and punch them!
This is sad because this person doesn't believe in God, but this still touched my heart.
When I hear about secret places the government has, I get scared and weirded out.
Hmm...maybe this was from one of my X boyfriends
I know this is is kinda like stereotypical, but since the shootings at VA Tech, I get nervous when I see Asian students at school. I feel bad.

IU-Little 500
"Welcome to the worlds greatest college weekend!"
"I've attended Super Bowls, World Series and the Monaco Grand Prix, but the coolest event I ever attended was the Little 500." -Lance Armstrong
The Little 500 is much more than a bike race. It is the biggest intramural event on campus and the largest collegiate bike race in the United States. Going into its 57th year, the Little 500 also boasts a tradition like few other college events. More than 20,000 people attend the men's and women's races every year, with the proceeds used for working student scholarships at Indiana University. The 2007 races will allow IUSF to give away over $35,000 in scholarships to working IU students.
This week begins the infamous Little 5 Week at Indiana University. I am very upset about the fact that I don't live there anymore but I will DEFINITELY be there on Friday! I'm soo excited! GO IU!!!

I'm so happy right now it's crazy and I had to tell someone...so I'm blogging!!! I think Iris may be the name for her...I won't be able to decide for sure until I see her in person! I'M GETTTING A PUPPY!!!!
It's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I've been obsessed with them ever since Charlotte got Elizabeth Taylor on Sex and the City. I have now found out that there are all red ones and black and white ones which makes me very excited! I've emailed several people who breed them so I can make sure to get a good one and I definitely want a girl! I hope I can save the money because I think they are REALLY expensive! I can't wait though!!!
Here are the names I've picked so far (It has to be a flower-family tradition):
Daisy II(after my first dog)
Rosie
Daffy (for Daffodil)
Iris
Ginger
Give me some of your ideas!!!!
