Jordan and I broke up a few weeks ago but we spent 8 months connected at the hip. I wish it wouldn't have ended this way for him but I did everything I could to stop him from doing this. I hate to admit this, but it is totally true! You can tell if you're going to get a decent tip by the time you take the drink orders...with anyone! It's awful because it completely changes the way I treat them... ALWAYS LEAVE AT LEAST 15% NO MATTER WHAT!!! but 20% is better :)

This is awful. I really liked Chris Brown and I also really liked him and Rihanna as a couple! I hate woman beaters! I hope that he really gets charged for his actions the way he should, however, I feel like he will get off easy because of who he is. I have heard that MILK has pulled all of his adds and his music has also been pulled from several radio stations, which I totally agree with. He should no longer be a music icon or a role model for young people to look up to if he is going to behave in such aggressive and dangerous ways. We do not need any more young people in America thinking that it is okay to act in violent ways, especially in domestic violent ways!! You feel me??

Hello everyone! I know it's been a super long time since i've posed anything. I was really busy with school and finals, not to mention that I work like every day. Funny, because i still don't have any money. Christmas and New Years were great, though! I also went to the Colts game last sunday, which was AMAZING! They played the Titans and won! :) I've also been dating someone new for about a month and a half. Oddly enough, his name is Jordan. But things are going great and i'm actually really happy for the first time in quite a while. I don't have any pictures of us yet because i don't have a camera, but as soon as i do i'll post some! He's cute.
Anyway, I really miss keeping up with all of you so I'm gonna be posting a lot more here soon. Plus, classes start back up in a week so I'll have a lot more time to blog when I'm in class. haha
I also haven't visited anyone's blogs in a long time either, so I'll be doing that next and leaving some comments! I'm interested in what you all have been up to.

I'm sorry if anyone reading this either has one or thinks it's a good idea. But this iPosture cracks me up. I guess it is this little electronic device that you can wear as a necklace or snap to a bra or undershirt, but it records your body posture and if you move within three degrees of perfect posture it starts vibrating. haha sorry but i dont want to feel vibrations in my bra every time i move! maybe it would be a good idea for some people though, just not me! let me know what you think!

This is a day late, but yesterday was the Marine Corps 233rd birthday! The Marine Corps was born on November 10, 1775!! It is a really big deal every year to everyone affiliated with the Marines. I wish Jordan would have been home to celebrate it... He called and said that they celebrated a little and got to have one beer each, but he didn't get a chance to have his :( Everyone be thankful that this military group was founded on this day and please pray for Jordan and the other troops that are out defending us today!!! (a.k.a. yesterday)

Ok, so I know I have not been blogging at all lately. I'm about to start classes in a couple weeks, so I should begin to have a lot more time to update! Sadly, even though my life has been really busy, I still don't have anything extremely interesting to share.
A few things to update everyone, however, consist of:

-I'm officially a bartender at Ruby Tuesday now and I love it! It really is fun. There is a lot more responsibility and "busy work," but at least it makes the time go by faster throughout my shift. I was also starting to make more money as well, but we have been so dead lately that I haven't been making anything! Let's all pray for that to change soon!! Thanks!

-I started doing Weight Watchers again yesterday. I am the absolute worst dieter in the world, but I really have to stay motivated because I'm getting close to whale-size, and that is just not pretty. It is kinda hard for me because I don't have a lot of money to be spending on healthy foods, which everyone knows are more expensive! Also, WW is time consuming. It works the best if you can prepare the food ahead of time, which I just can't do. But, thank the good Lord that we have Smart Ones and Turkey sandwiches! Those are what gets me through! I also start classes in like 13 days and I have a pretty sweet schedule. I will be able to work at the school and at Ruby's a lot throughout the week and still have a full schedule. That should help me drain some weight. I also have a perfect workout break on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so hopefully that will work out. Wish me luck!

-Jordan came and went. I was dissappointed in him while he was home. He just went a little crazy with the partying, but the time that I did get to spend with him was great. He went back to San Diego, but left again on Sunday to go to the Mohabi Desert for a month for more training. I'm not getting to talk to him as much, mostly because he is a dumbass and forgot his phone charger, so in a few days, I won't get to talk to him at all. But, overall, everything is ok and I'm dealing pretty well. He isn't supposed to be home again until after he gets back from Iraq, but I think he may get to come home for a couple days in September, which will be nice. He leaves for Falusia, Iraq within the first few days of October and should be back in the states by April or May.

-I have officially changed my major from Elementary Education to Psychology. I had about 2 1/2 more years of school with ElEd, which I just could not deal with. But, since I had so many minors and concentrations finished (4 total) in the psychology/counseling area, I should be able to finish by the end of this school year or maybe at the end of the summer. That is great for me! I was also starting to stray from the idea of teaching anyway, so this works out. Plus, with this Psychology degree and my minor in Counseling, I can be a school counselor, which I think would be perfect for me. I have also just found out that there is a counselor at East Side Middle School (the school I work at now that is 40 seconds from my house) who is retiring at the end of this school year, and I think I would have a really good shot at getting that job. The principal loves me! But who knows where I will be at this time next year!

Well, those are a few things that I've been dealing with lately. Don't get me wrong, I do realize how boring this blog ended up being, but I just felt like I needed to post an update.

My Summer Class

So, I'm beginning my second week of my summer class. I'm taking a math class from 8:30am to 10:45am, EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK! It also doesn't help that I have to drive 30 minutes to get there. Saying that I am not a morning person is definitely putting it lightly, and I hate math more than any other subject. So I'm not really excited about this. However, last week went pretty smooth and I have a wonderful teacher. We have an exam every Friday, and I got a 93% on my first one!!! (That is an A) I'm soo happy about that. So, even though this class sucks, hopefully I'll keep up the good work! Wish me luck! :)

I went back to San Diego to see Jordan last weekend. I had a wonderful time and we got to spend a lot of time together just talking and stuff this time. It was nice to be around him again. I forget how much I really miss him when we are apart. He has gained more weight and he is really hot now... I don't know what to think about that either. Anyway, I had a great time and he will be home the whole month of July, which is not too far away!! I can't wait! But, then he gets shipped off to Iraq in October. I can't think about that yet, but I'm just excited that he will be home soon!

My life...

Ok I know I've really been sucking it up with the posts lately. So I've decided to let everyone know what's been going on in my life.

*I work almost every day at Ruby Tuesday... I really like my job, though! I've been making pretty good money, but I spend it almost as soon as I get it! But I don't even spend it on fun stuff most of the time...it all goes to BILLS!!! ugh! I have been working at the middle school some too, but not that much, however, I do work this Friday!

*I've really been trying to make my house "home-y". I've gotten a lot of pictures hung up and candles put out. I've also gotten a few things for my bathroom that makes it look not so....scary. I also got a big floor rug and it's a lot more organized.

*Stephanie and Kari came to visit me! They came last Friday night and I LOVED IT!! It was really great to see both of them and catch up. We mostly ate the whole time they were here. We went to Gene's Root Beer Stand, The Real Hacienda, and Pizza King...it was wonderful! I wish Shan and Emily could have been there too! Then it would have been like the Fab 5 all over again!! (execpt we replaced Christy with Stephanie because she is WAY better! :)

*I am smack in the middle of my Finals. They are lasting two weeks instead of one this semester. It's kinda good, but I would rather just be really stressed for one week than to be overwhelmed and depressed for two weeks! And not only is it my finals, but one of my professors decided to make all of our assignments for the whole year due this week too! And everyone knows that I didn't start any of them until this week!

*I am going back to San Diego next weekend! I am very excited! I miss Jordan so much and this is getting harder. He is scheduled to come home for the whole month of July which is AMAZING! But then he heads to Iraq in October. I do not like that at all, but he is actually looking forward to getting to use all of the skills that he has learned in all of this training he's been going through. I will need many prayers from all of you when that time comes...just a head's up!

*I have been trying to lose weight since I'm fatter now than I have ever been! I go to this park down the road from my house and walk around and sometimes jog. I have been trying to do push-ups and stuff at home but I just hate exercise. I have also been trying to eat better but I think I may be addicted to ice cream..which isn't working out too well. I also tried to join the Glamour work out site, but I don't think I've looked at it since the day I joined. I need some serious encouragement and helpful hints!

*I have also been trying to sell things on E-bay. I'm not having a lot of luck yet, but I just started this week. So far, I have one bid for $0.99. haha Hopefully that will take off soon. I really need the money! And I am going to help clean out my mom's house this way! :)

I am going to try to post up some pictures and start my Ten on Tuesday again soon. I miss you all and I'm going to start viewing and commenting on your blogs, as well, because I really miss it!! Hope everyone is doing well and I'll talk to you soon! :)

I'm going back to San Diego on Friday morning! I am really excited! I have been missing Jordan a lot lately and I can't wait to see him again! He gets his weekends off so he decided to fly me out there this weekend! I want to go to the San Diego Zoo, but I don't know if we will be able to or not, but I hope so! Anyone else trying to diet?? Well, these Klondike ice cream sandwiches are wonderful! They are 100 calories and 1.5 grams of fat each!! and suprisingly, they taste great! I love them! There are several different kinds, but I've only had the ice cream sandwiches, so far. However, I plan on trying the fudge bars, the ice cream crunch bars, the chocolate ice cream sandwiches, and the regular ice cream bars. Actually, I think that's all of them, but I'm excited! He is going to be at the School of Infantry in Camp Pendleton. At least I will get to talk to him every day this time around, that will make it a lot easier! He's pretty excited about getting back there because he gets to use every weapon that the Marine Corps owns...so basically he's just going to be blowing shit up for the next two months! haha that's scary! But anyway, since he's gone, I'll have more down time, so my blog will be getting a lot more interesting!!

I know it took me a long time to post these, but I've been really busy! The trip to San Diego was amazing! I have never been so proud of anyone or anything in my life. Jordan's graduation was very cool. I've never gotten to experience anything like it. He was at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego and it was nothing like I had expected. I thought it would be dirty and scary, but it wasn't! It was actually really beautiful! But the coolest part was watching all 447 of his company march and move all at the exact same time. He was in Hotel Company, Platoon 2173. There were 6 platoons all together in the company, and his received the title "Honor Platoon". There were only a couple guys in the whole company who scored higher than him on the rifle shooting day, so he did really well. I'm very proud of him, and he's really proud of himself. He gained 25 lbs. and looks great! He's a lot more respectful and I really do think he has a new sense of motivation. I'm surprised at how much he has changed...but it's all in a good way. He's still the same old Jordan but he's just got funnier stories! haha... He has to report back to MCRD on February 5th, so at least he will be home for both of our birthdays!! :)
here are some pictures: This is his actual graduation, (the others were from the family day we had the day before ) They didn't wear their dress blues, which I was a little sad about, but he still looked very handsome! He is the third one from the right in the first row! it was hard to find him though!And then we got to go to the beach and watch the sunset! It was so beautiful! The waves were crashing up on those rocks! I loved it! But I put my feet in the Pacific Ocean for the first time and the water was so cold that my toes were numb for like 2 hours! And don't worry, I'm not actually pregnant, that's just a bad picture of me!We're cute!One of his full uniforms, he looked cute! but he's still shaving his eyebrows so he kinda looks like a goober in this one!And he's already gotten another tattoo! For those of you who don't know, Semper Fi is the Latin term for "Always Faithful" and It's like the Marine Corps motto this tattoo was actually my idea:) I think it's kinda hot but his nickname from his Drill Instructor was "gangster" because of all of his tattoos haha so now he's really gonna catch some shit because i'm guessing he'll get at least 2 more while he's home.

Well that was a lot! But it was a wonderful trip and his graduation was very cool. I'm so happy I got to be there for it. I would have never thought at this time last year that Jordan would be doing this, but it's easier for me to stomach all of this now that I've seen how proud he is of himself and what he has transformed into!

I leave tomorrow morning!! I'm very excited, not only because I get to see Jordan, but I have never been to CA so I'm excited to see the coast, as well!

Jordan also got to call me last night for the first time! I cried, of course, but it was really nice to hear his voice for the first time since October 21... :)

*I know I've really been sucking it up with the Ten on Tuesday's lately. It's easier when I'm in class! :) So, I'm starting back up!

10 Things I want to accomplish this year:

1. Raise my GPA to above a 2.5
2. Accumulate at least $1,000 in my savings account (yea that probably won't happen)
3. Lose at least 20 pounds.(hopefully in the next 8 days...haha)
4. Exercise 3-4 times every week.
5. Visit more with my distant friends who I don't see as much.
6. I want to be there for my close friends, too... I think I ask them to be there for me too much right now.
7. Do ALL of my laundry once a week (yea right)
8. Be organized in my classes.
9. Make my house very "home-y" and very me!
10. Start going to church regularly.

i love this! I like to think of the new year as a fresh start too! especially in school! I think it gives out hope! at least to me!
that is so awful! i can't imagine how that would feel :(
one of my biggest pet peeves is when people leave the plastic on stuff!!! it just gets ugly and dirty and makes the screen harder to see... i always take them off
haha i don't make things up, but i do put in every little thing i can think of so i feel like i have important things to do!

It's sad to me that this person thinks this way.

yay!!! I finally got a house! My new address is **** Lindberg Rd. I was only looking at apartments until I found this house the other day! It all went really fast, too. I just randomly saw it on my way home from work, I called there, and before I knew it, I was putting the security deposite down! I'm soo excited about this! It is a really cute little house! They are re-doing the inside right now, so I won't be able to get in until like Jan. 15 or so. Hopefully it will be sooner than that! The inside is really cute and there is a full basement! There is a washer and dryer and everything!! I'm soo excited it's not even right! And I wasn't trying to be a stalker or anything, but it is literally a 45 second drive to Jordan's! haha Anyway, I LOVE IT!!! I'll post more pics soon!
